What is Gertrude’s responsibility for all that has taken place, according to Hamlet?

According to you?

For not thinking about her son´s feelings or what he wnts or doesnt like. She also didn´t tell him about her relationship and spying. For marrying the uncle instead of being a widow and only loving the man she married first.

Yes. Gertude is guilty for everything that had happened except the murder of the first husband (Hamlets father). She is a terrible mother because after the wedding with the uncle she has not take care of Hamlet. She never asked the opinion of hamlet before getting married to the uncle. This wouldent be happening if it wasent for hamlets mom. . . .She is GUILTY!

According to Hamlet Gertrude was not guilty about this problem, Claudius was. She was just weak and got seduced by a powerful man. To me she is guilty of all the dilema involving this tragedy. She is guilty of Hamlet's madness and she is guilty of abandoning his previous husband by this stupid new one

  4. According to Hamlet all that is going on in the play is thanks to Gertrude because she married his uncle only two months after his dad got killed and that really afected Hamletbecause he wasnt expecting any of that happening especially finding out that the one who killed his father was his uncle. I also think that if Gertrude hadnt married Claudius any of this woudnt had ha;ppened.

For Hamlet Gertrude was just silly .. and Hamlet was disappointed of his mother but I dont think he blames his mother as much as his uncle. For me Gertrude is annoying but not guilty because she didnt really do anything intentional to make Hamlet revenge. She is just silly and unconscious of what she is doing.

Hamlet is just angry that she remarried, so fast. That is the only thing that has been bothering him about her, her weakness. Gertrude didnt think how the marriage would affect Hamlet, she was just looking for her own good. And I think that Gertrude was also weak, she could have waited for Hamlet to arrive and then take his place as king. But she was convinced by the uncle that she couldnt be ruling the country by herself during this time of war.

  7. I think that its not all Gertrudes fault becuase Hamlet is big enough to handel his problems. Although its not just Gertrudes fault, she has a lot to do with whats going on. Hamlet is really upset about her mothers new marriage and thats how his problems started.

I consider that Gertrude does not have the fault since she was trying to do what was best for the country. She thought that marrying Claudious would be the best solution for all, because she got manipulated by him. She was just trying to do whats best.
